1.IIT Roorkee

The first position among top engineering colleges of Uttarakhand goes to IIT Roorkee. The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), formerly called as University of Roorkee. The college of Technology is an institute which comes under the G.B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. The College of Technology has 10 fully functional departments that offer 8 B.  THDC INSTITUTE OF HYDROPOWER ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY was started in the year of 2011-2012 and it is also a constituent institute of UTU  which offers B. Tech degree program in four branches namely Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
